Central American has some great diving and is relatively unknown to most.
Belize is one of the premier scuba diving destinations in the world. They have a unique marine formation which goes way down into a cave. This spot is inhabited by several species of sharks and other large marine fish species.
The experience is really amazing. You can even see stalagmites and stalactites in some of the caves in the dive area. The scuba diving in this area is so great that many visitors return to experience it again.
Some of these spots I hate to mention because I enjoy their pristine character.
