Scuba diving & snorkeling in the Okinawan islands was unbelievable. There was colorful coral, many fish, eels, cuttlefish, and even manta rays. There are also hammerhead sharks and an ancient underwater city ruin that’s still a mystery. We went to Tokashiki, Zamami, Ishigaki, Taketomi, Iriomote and Okinawa itself. We wrap up our brief visit to West Palm Beach, Florida with a tour of some of the reef sites in the area. We start 10 miles south of the Palm Beach Inlet at Horseshoe Reef and then work our way north visiting a half a dozen different named reef sites. Our Friday the 13th (6/13/2008, lol) scuba diving trip at the Georgia Aquarium. We were one of the very first ever able to do this. Learning to scuba dive on the Great Barrier Reef, Australia, back in the year 2000. We had a 1 week training course including 9 dives on a liveaboard which moved between different reefs. Video includes parts of the PADI open water certification including navigation, removing mask. Lots of fish, turtles, corals and other amazing underwater life.
